ディズニーには興味がないスヌーピー党ですが（笑）、『メリー・ポピンズ』が大好きな私は、前から気になっていた『ウォルト・ディズニーの約束』を土曜日にやっと観ることが出来ました。東京では8日位で上映が終わってしまうので、ギリギリで観ることが出来て本当に良かったです。今回映画を観て初めて、『メリー・ポピンズ』が、作者トラヴァース夫人の辛い幼少時期とリンクしている実話が背景にあることを知りました。

映画の挿入歌が流れるたびに、体を揺り動かしながら声を出さずに歌っていました。『Feed The Birds（鳩に２ペンスを）』という曲が一番好きです。この鳩に餌をやっているおばあさんは、ロンドンのセントポール寺院の階段の所に座っています。この寺院も２回行きました。懐かしいです。
映画館では、懐かしさと色々な気持ちが溢れて来て、うるうるしてしまいました。ウォルト・ディズニーが20年もかけてトラヴァース夫人を説得し『メリー・ポピンズ』を映画化させました。これは、彼女が囚われていた過去の苦しみから解放され、又癒されることにもつながっていたのですね。とても良い映画でした。

『Spoon Full of Sugar』も大好きです。面倒くさい仕事もやる気が起こり、すいすい片づけられそうです。（笑）
『supercalifragilisticexpialidocious』も懐かしい。この早口言葉みたいな歌、今でもすらすら歌えます。^^
