10月14日は私の洗礼記念日でした。何十年経っても昨日の出来事のように鮮明に記憶しています。あの日は良い天気で暑い日でした。全浸礼なので濡れた髪をすぐ乾かせるようにショートカットにしていました。(笑)
私はこの歳になっても、本音と建前、裏表を使い分ける人達が理解出来ません。気配りは出来る方だとは思いますが、裏もなく嘘もつけないからです。「永遠の少女heidi」というキャッチフレーズ？はその通りです。(笑)
世渡りは上手くはありませんが、良くも悪くもこれが私の個性ですね。^^;神様に出会い洗礼を受け、あれからずっと、変わらず私を無条件に愛して下さる神様の御愛の御手の中で生かされていることが本当に幸せです。
最近私は祈りの中で、「主の御心に叶った私に日々作り変えて下さい」と具体的に祈るようになりました。自分の努力では変えられないのでお任せです。神様は陶器師で私は粘土ですから、必ず私はそのように変えられると信じています。
WWJDという言葉は良く聞きます。What would Jesus do?のことです。個人的にWhat would Jesus do if He were in my place?と補足します。if He lived todayも見ましたが、仮定法過去だと現在の事実(主は生きている)と反対になるので違うかなと思います。
下の本は最近見つけた本で、WWJDを世に広めることになった本で1896に書かれたものです。イエス様ならどうされるだろうと、行動を起こす前に考える習慣が出来るようになる本なのかなと思います。これから読んでみます。^^
